Mount Royal Academy in Sunapee, NH is seeking a qualified individual to serve as our Theater Director, for our elementary, junior high, and high school students for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is a part time position. The theater director is responsible for directing and producing two shows per year, 1 fall, 1 spring, communicating with students and parents about rehearsals and performance details, coordinating with our performance space (The Newport Opera House), creating, maintaining, and adhering to a budget, overseeing proper organization and storage of equipment. The ideal candidate has the ability to see the potential in all students and to build a strong rapport with them. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are necessary. Teaching experience and basic understanding of liturgical music is preferred.
