A well-established and expanding organization is looking for a seasoned tax professional to step into a Senior Tax Manager role. This individual will take ownership of the company’s income tax function, overseeing all facets including federal, state, and international compliance, along with transfer pricing, FBAR, unclaimed property, and associated reporting. Reporting directly to the tax leadership, this position plays a key role in both operational execution and ongoing process refinement. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity with broad exposure to financial and tax strategies. We're looking for someone who brings a blend of deep technical expertise, a proactive mindset for streamlining processes, and the confidence to drive initiatives across multiple departments. Key Responsibilities Lead all income tax compliance functions including U.S. federal, state, and non-U.S. income taxes, FBAR, unclaimed property, and transfer pricing. Drive process improvements and identify opportunities to streamline income tax compliance and minimize costs. Oversee external tax advisors and service providers; review filings and ensure accurate and timely submission of returns. Partner with leadership to develop and defend tax positions, resolve inquiries, and implement planning strategies. Conduct tax research and provide technical guidance on complex tax issues. Monitor changes in tax law and assess impact to the organization. Lead audit defense strategies and support negotiations related to proposed deficiencies. Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and mitigate risks across jurisdictions. Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax; CPA preferred. 13+ years of income tax experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax departments. Deep knowledge of partnership taxation and flow-through entities. Strong expertise in international tax and related reporting requirements. Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. High level of discretion, professionalism, and ethical standards. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
