I'm working with a client that’s looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Product Engineering to join their team in Austin, Texas . This company is tackling some of the biggest challenges in energy and technology, and they need top-tier engineering talent to help drive innovation.

About the Role:

My client is building cutting-edge solutions to make energy more reliable and transparent for consumers. They’re looking for someone who can own feature development across the system , particularly on the front end, which includes dashboards, real-time monitoring, billing transparency, notifications, and more.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer , you’ll be leading architectural decisions to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience. They care deeply about user experience —not just specific technologies—so they’re looking for someone who can think from the customer’s perspective while also bringing technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead feature development across the system, focusing on high-impact customer experiences.
• Own the frontend experience , including dashboards, real-time monitoring, billing transparency, notifications, and more.
• Make key architectural decisions to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Work closely with product and backend teams to deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions.

Requirements:

• Experience leading development in modern SPA frameworks or mobile apps
• Experience with React and Vue
• Strong background in platform and API development
• Familiarity with data-driven product development
• Proven track record of delivering features end-to-end
• TypeScript is a hard requirement
• Some backend experience is preferred.
