As a portable X-Ray Tech, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures with a high level of technical competency. Your role will require a solid understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology, allowing you to apply ionizing radiation for accurate radiologic diagnoses. You will demonstrate initiative and ingenuity while working with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform X-ray examinations on patients, following established protocols and safety procedures.
  • Ensure patient comfort and cooperation throughout the imaging process.
  • Position patients correctly and accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
  • Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring its proper functionality.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely
  • diagnostic information.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as an X-Ray Technologist.
  • ARRT Certification
  • Licensed in OR
  • Proficiency in performing X-ray procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficient in reading imaging in an EMR system.
  • Solid understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Valid drivers license.
