About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President for Content Distribution and Strategy. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in the media industry, particularly in linear distribution. This role is pivotal in driving revenue, expanding viewership, and ensuring long-term success in a rapidly changing media landscape. The SVP will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive distribution strategies, leading high-stakes contract negotiations, and managing key distributor accounts. A strong background in sales, strategic planning, and business development, with at least 10 years' experience in the media industry and 5 years in team leadership, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong network and reputation as a thought leader in media and entertainment, with a proven ability to deliver measurable revenue growth. Key qualifications include advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint proficiency, as well as the ability to travel as needed. The SVP will also be expected to act as a key liaison between distribution and internal teams, championing the coordination of distributor needs across all business lines, and representing the company at industry events.
