Senior Financial Systems Analyst – FP&A Tools & Technology

📍 Hybrid | Chicago, IL

💼 $110K–$130K base + bonus (target range)

A nationally recognized real estate investment firm is looking for a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to join its high-performing FP&A and Corporate Finance team.

This individual will be the go-to expert for managing and enhancing the firm’s financial planning systems , ensuring accuracy, usability, and performance across all business units. This is a highly cross-functional role involving Finance, IT, and Data teams — perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, financial analytics, and process improvement .

🧩 What You’ll Do:

• Act as the systems lead for planning and forecasting tools (including platforms like Vena, Anaplan, or Hyperion)
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting cycles across corporate and portfolio teams
• Collaborate with Finance leadership to build and optimize dashboards, data models, and reporting workflows
• Perform ETL transformations and ensure seamless data integration across tools (Yardi, Argus, Power BI, etc.)
• Lead the design and rollout of new reporting solutions , upgrades, and automations
• Serve as a point of contact for vendors, system upgrades, and end-user support

🧠 Your Background:

• 5–7 years of experience in Finance Systems, FP&A Technology, or Financial Operations
• Strong understanding of financial planning processes and tools (Vena, Anaplan, Hyperion, Argus, etc.)
• Experience administering or supporting ERP platforms (Yardi preferred)
• Skilled in data modeling, Power BI/Tableau, and Excel/Power Query
• Ability to bridge the gap between Finance and Technology teams
• Strong communication and project management skills
