Job Title: Reach Truck Operator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Reach Truck Operator to join our team. This role requires operating a Reach Truck forklift in a storage cooler with temperatures as low as minus 20 degrees. The position involves picking orders and staging them efficiently.
Responsibilities - Operate Reach Truck forklift in a minus 20 degree storage cooler.
- Pick and stage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling with regular hours ranging from 5AM to 6PM.
- Work overtime as required.
Essential Skills - Experience operating a Reach Truck forklift.
- Ability to work in extremely cold temperatures of minus 20 degrees.
- Proficiency in English or Spanish; bilingual is a plus.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Experience with Crown forklifts is a plus.

Work Environment The facility is located in Medley and is a food distribution center catering to numerous clients. The front area temperature ranges from 40 to 45 degrees, while the back area, where the Reach Truck Operators work most of the day, is minus 20 degrees. The environment is fast-paced, especially during the peak season from July to November. Safety is a priority, and all employees must wear steel-toe boots and appropriate gear for the cold temperatures.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medley, Florida.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
