Position Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to partner with our team of Political Reporting Analysts. The Project Manager will play a key programmatic role, ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of client services. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal compliance, excellent project management skills, including attention to detail, and the interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Responsibilities:
· Partner with a team of Political Reporting Analysts responsible for preparing and submitting federal, state, and local lobbying, campaign finance and gift reports.
· Manage workload distribution, set priorities, and ensure deadlines are consistently met across multiple projects.
· Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and quality control.
· Provide guidance to the team on developments with regulators, jurisdictional updates and new e-filing system requirements across various jurisdictions.
· Oversee the preparation of jurisdiction-specific compliance communications and tasks for the team and the firm’s clients.
· Collaborate with firm leadership to support client relationship management.
· Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries related to compliance filings, deadlines, and regulatory requirements.
· Mentor and train new team members, providing regular feedback and fostering professional growth.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· At least 2 years of project management experience required.
· Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Word.
· High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience working in a law firm or compliance environment.
· Familiarity with compliance reporting software and/or online filing systems.
