Our new Yakima office is seeking a skilled Receptionist to join our dynamic team. As our Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting patients, scheduling appointments, managing records, and supporting the overall operations of the clinic. Your contributions will be pivotal in providing our patients with the highest quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction : Welcome patients and visitors, answer inquiries in person or over the phone, and ensure a positive first impression.
  • Appointment Management : Optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by efficiently scheduling appointments.
  • Patient Coordination : Keep appointments on schedule by notifying providers of patient arrivals, reviewing service delivery, and managing any delays.
  • Patient Comfort : Anticipate and address patient anxieties, answer questions, and maintain a calming reception area.
  • Insurance Verification : Verify and update patient insurance information.
  • Account Management : Maintain patient accounts by recording and updating personal and financial information.
  • Confidentiality : Protect patient rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
  • Policy Adherence : Maintain clinic operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
  • Sales Skills : Sell skincare products and gain an understanding of aesthetic services to assist patients effectively.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Essential Skills : Multi-tasking, flexibility, telephone skills, customer service, time management, organization, attention to detail, scheduling, word processing, professionalism, dependability, quality focus, team player.
  • Technical Proficiency : Able to operate between two charting systems.
  • Experience :
  • Customer Service: 1 year (required), 3 years (preferred)
  • Medical Reception: 1 year (required), 3 years (preferred)
