We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Legal Secretary in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be working in the defense litigation industry. The position requires a presence on-site and involves providing crucial support in the legal process.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the drafting of discovery documents and pleadings for both state and federal cases
• Managing dictation tasks efficiently
• Handling the filing process meticulously
• Maintaining a comprehensive and organized calendar
• Performing billing functions using appropriate software
• Ensuring a high level of attention to detail in all tasks
• Maintaining a positive attitude and contributing to team stability
• Utilizing Westlaw for legal research and other necessary functionalities.• Proficient in Billing Functions, with a strong understanding of financial processes within a legal environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Calendar Management, able to coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments and deadlines.
• Ability to transcribe and interpret Dictation accurately, with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience in Drafting Pleadings, with the ability to prepare legal documents efficiently.
• Knowledgeable in Discovery processes, capable of managing and organizing large volumes of documents and data.
• Prior experience in Litigation - Defense, with a solid understanding of legal procedures and court processes.
