We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team. As an integral part of our legal department, your role will involve managing case files, facilitating communication with clients, handling discovery and evidence, preparing for trials, conducting legal research, and managing billing and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
• Ensure accurate and organized case files by assisting attorneys with intake, evaluation, and strategy development.
• Act as a liaison between clients and attorneys, maintaining strong client relationships through prompt and detail-oriented responses to inquiries and concerns.
• Facilitate client meetings, depositions, and court appearances as necessary.
• Play a crucial role in the discovery process, engaging in drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions.
• Conduct legal research as requested by attorneys to support case strategies and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to personal injury and commercial litigation.
• Assist with billing and timekeeping tasks, including the preparation of invoices and expense reports.
• Handle general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and managing attorney calendars.
• Collaborate with attorneys to prepare trial exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
• Manage and update document databases and electronic files.
• Monitor case deadlines and manage the court calendar.• Possession of a minimum of 1 year experience as a Legal Assistant
• Proficiency in Case Management Software
• Demonstrated expertise in Calendar Management
• Proven skills in Client Relations
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in Civil Litigation and Commercial Litigation
• Familiarity with Personal Injury Law, Personal Injury Litigation, and working with Personal Injury Plaintiffs
• Ability to conduct Client Intake procedures efficiently
• Knowledge of managing Legal Files and maintaining them systematically
• Proficiency in e-File system operations
• Experience in drafting legal documents
• Familiarity with Discovery processes in legal cases
• Strong skills in Legal Research
• Ability to prepare invoices and Expense Reports accurately
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suites.
