We are in the search for a dedicated Legal Assistant to join our team in CHICAGO, Illinois, 60602-4217, United States. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing legal documents, coordinating schedules, and performing various administrative tasks. Your expertise in the Corporate industry will be a valuable asset as you navigate tasks within the legal department.

Responsibilities:
• Handle the drafting and reviewal process of various contracts such as engagement letters, non-disclosure agreements, Independent Contractor agreements, Vendor agreements, and more.
• Manage and maintain schedules to ensure optimal coordination, time management, and effectiveness.
• Oversee the filing system for documents and emails to ensure organization and easy access.
• Take the initiative to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements proactively.
• Coordinate travel plans as needed.
• Perform routine administrative tasks including mailing, faxing, and copying.
• Prepare and submit expense reports in a timely manner.
• Undertake any additional tasks as required by the Legal Department.• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Law or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Legal Assistant in a corporate setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of corporate law practices and procedures.
• Proficient in legal research and document drafting.
• Demonstrable ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of organization.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of legal terminologies and court system.
• Must have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• High degree of detail oriented ethics and integrity.
