We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our legal team with administrative and legal tasks. This position requires excellent communication, research, and documentation skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling sensitive and confidential information.

Key Responsibilities:
Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, contracts, and correspondence

Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, court appearances, and deadlines

File and organize legal documents both physically and digitally

Conduct legal research and gather supporting documentation as needed

Assist with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and coordinating with witnesses

Communicate with clients, court staff, opposing counsel, and outside vendors

Maintain case files and update case management systems with accurate information

Process incoming and outgoing mail, manage billing, and track legal deadlines

Support attorneys with administrative tasks such as time entry, travel arrangements, and expense reports

Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; paralegal certification a plus

2+ years of experience in a legal support role (law firm or corporate legal department)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (e.g., Clio, Westlaw, LexisNexis)

Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
