Allegion/Next Door Company seeks a self-motivated, results-driven team player to fill a Laborer position at our Hialeah, FL location. The Laborer will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the production process, ensuring that products meet quality standards and production goals are achieved. This role involves operating machinery, assembling metal products, basic welding, metal polishing, maintaining a clean workspace, and performing other duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities include operating and monitoring machinery and equipment to ensure efficient production; assembling, welding, polishing, packaging, or inspecting products according to company standards and specifications; performing quality control checks; loading and unloading raw materials, finished products, and equipment; maintaining a clean and organized work area; following safety protocols; communicating with team members and supervisors; assisting with routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery and tools; adhering to production schedules and meeting output goals; and performing additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required), prior experience in metal manufacturing or factory environment is a plus, ability to operate machinery and use hand tools safely, strong attention to detail, physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, basic understanding of safety protocols, and good communication and teamwork skills. The work environment is fast-paced manufacturing with possible exposure to noise, dust, or heat, requiring standing and moving for long periods. Schedule is first shift, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, with occasional overtime and weekends required.
