Job Description:

I want to start a separate thread and begin interviewing candidates for an HTML/CSS developer. Here's the scope of work I have so far:

• Assess the Developer Took Kit (DTK) capabilities that come with our CMS, Granicus, which we hope to use for custom microsites. This assessment will determine future projects.
• Develop custom tools on Fremont.gov for sorting and filtering content using the DTK
• Develop an accessible structure for website components
• Knowledge of and experience with meeting WCAG 2.2 or Section 508 accessibility guidelines in development
• Bonus but not required: Object Oriented User Experience knowledge

Notes:

• When you use Granicus you're using their widgets. Don't know enough about the system so need a resource to help. Example: Will they be able to make a custom css? Don't know enough about the development process within the css
• Developing microsites
• Making sure they compliant with accessibility (WCAG 2.2)
• Granicus will be responsible for accessibility
• They purchased the developer toolkit as part of their license with Granicus (CMS specific to public sector)
• One of their team members built a customer table that sorts and filters for agenda center
• Hard to, know what the scope will be until they know what the capabilities are
