FREELANCE PROJECT MANAGER
Project Management Department
 

Job Summary

Calcium+Company seeks a  Freelance Project Manager for 20-40 hours a week to oversee and execute various integrated marketing initiatives on a project-by-project basis. This role requires a dynamic professional who can manage multiple marketing and digital projects from conception to execution, ensuring quality deliverables on time and within budget. As a freelancer, you will work closely with internal teams and external partners to provide structure, oversight, and efficiency in project workflows.

 

Key Job Responsibilities (Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following)

 

• PM Methodology:
  • Applies Calcium+Company’s methodology in project plans, contracts, and status reporting and can adapt and flex the methodology for different types of projects and client needs
  • Develop and manage project plans, ensuring clear milestones, deliverables, and timelines
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure seamless execution.
• Resource Allocation:
  • Assess resource needs and coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure proper allocation.
  • Track and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and cost estimates are accurate.
  • Oversee change requests and scope modifications as needed.
• Project Finances:
  • Proactively manages project-level finances based on brand fee structure and accurately calculates cost-to-complete estimates
  • Develops estimates for new project asks as communicated from the account team.
  • Manages project change request process
• Internal Management:
  • Act as the main point of contact for creative, digital, and account teams, ensuring alignment on project goals.
  • Maintain clear and organized project documentation, including status reports and timelines.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and provide updates to stakeholders, keeping everyone informed of progress and next steps.

• Quality Delivery:
  • Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations and regulatory standards where applicable.
  • Oversee the final execution of projects to maintain high-quality outputs.

 

Job Qualifications (Skills/Requirements)

• 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in marketing, digital, or creative industries.
• Proficient in project management and familiar with different project methodologies
• Experience in digital/print production of marketing sales materials (print and digital sales aids, videos, responsive websites, banner ads, email tools, etc)
• Med/legal and FDA 2253/OPDP submission experience preferred
• Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint; Acrobat Professional; web-based paperless routing and project management system administration
• Proficient in project level financial management, including different fee structures (fixed, T&M, retainer, etc)
• Problem solver with excellent communication skills

This is a contract-based, remote opportunity with flexible working hours depending on project needs.
