A highly regarded AmLaw 100 firm headquartered in the DMV is currently seeking skilled applicants for their opening as an  eDiscovery/Litigation   Paralegal . This position is based out of the firm's office in Rockville, MD, and will work on a litigation team handling large-scale claims and document reviews.

• $35/hour contract pay
• Indefinite contract length - immediate hiring need
• Starting at 20+ hours per week, can ramp up to full-time based on need
• On-site in the firm's office in Rockville, MD

Roles & Responsibilities

• Performing searches and creating batches and coding layouts within Relativity
• Assist attorneys with time entry, billing, and invoicing
• Help with conflicts checks for new review attorneys, keep track of attorney rosters, assist review attorneys with minor IT issues like password resets
• Review documents in a custom-built database to extract information and input it into the database.
• Maintain measured workflow expectations.
• Prepare travel and check request documents as needed.
• Update various office lists and logs.
• Keep all vendor information up to date.
• Code and send all A/P invoices to the DC office for payment.
• Assist the Administrative Attorney with maintenance of all administrative files.
• Keep inventory and order all office forms (taxi vouchers, messenger and overnight delivery - UPS, Federal Express, and Overnight Express).
• Research and resolve issues with invoicing.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment in carrying out responsibilities.
• Strong initiative and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work as a team player.
• Demonstrated strong writing and editing skills.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, staff, and vendors.

Lawyers On Demand/Consilio offers non-attorney flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, the candidate’s general skill set, the applicability of candidate's skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
