AriensCo, a global leader in outdoor power equipment, has an exciting opportunity at their Shepherdsville, KY distribution center. Pay starts at $18/hour with a guaranteed $1/hour increase every 6 months until reaching $20/hour. Schedule is Monday - Thursday, 7am-5:30pm (4 days x 10 hours). Responsibilities include picking, packing and verifying orders, performing basic manifest duties, monitoring and storing packaging supplies, applying 6S principles to assigned work area, being forklift certified (sit down and stand up only), working safely and identifying ways to improve workplace safety, and performing other duties as assigned to meet customer needs. Qualifications include ability to use basic hand tools, basic computer skills, basic math and reading skills, ability to perform all job functions safely, and capability to understand and follow standard work practices. Work environment requires wearing safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes, working in hot/humid or cold environments, standing/walking at least 8 hours per day, and ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 35 lbs frequently, as well as push, pull, twist, reach, bend, and squat.
