As a Direct Care Professional II (DCP II) at Pine Valley Services, you will take on a leadership role within the direct care teams across designated facilities. Your expertise will guide your team in meeting or exceeding quality care and services standards, directly impacting the lives of residents in our Adult Family Homes. You will be instrumental in assisting with service plan development and implementing tailored care plans, ensuring that all documentation and communication remains accurate and consistent.

Additionally, you will coordinate day-to-day operations by assisting supervisors and management, maintaining compliance with all regulations and company policies. Your responsibilities include managing inventory control, completing order lists, overseeing the supply budget and petty cash, and managing client medications. Moreover, you will play a key role in training and supporting new team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment dedicated to long term care excellence.

To excel as a Direct Care Professional II (DCP II) at Pine Valley Services, candidates must possess a robust set of skills essential for delivering quality care and services. Proficiency in Windows 10 or higher, along with a strong command of all Windows applications, is crucial for managing documentation and communication effectively. Applicants must hold required Wisconsin DHS training certifications and relevant certifications in long term care or human services. Strong organizational abilities and self-direction are vital, enabling you to manage multiple calendars and tasks efficiently.

Effective communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for fostering collaboration within your team and with external stakeholders. Additionally, advanced critical thinking skills and exceptional time management will empower you to address challenges proactively. Punctuality and dependability are crucial traits, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health or direct care, to ensure you contribute positively to our dedicated team.
