We are seeking a full-time Computational Health Informatics Data Manager II to facilitate clinical research collaboration across a new initiative focused on neurodevelopmental conditions for which BCH will serve as the admin hub. The Data Manager will work with the Data Coordination Director, Dr. Alexander Li Cohen, to advise study-level data management teams in partnership with the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. A successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment with frequent engagement with multiple stakeholders. They will have direct data management experience with clinical research studies so that, from their own experience, they can supervise study-level data managers through informed leadership and teamwork. This role will primarily be a supervisory and administrative role and does not involve interaction with study participants or patients. Preferred 3+ year commitment. The Computational Health Informatics Data Manager II will be responsible for: Oversee study data managers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to design, implement, and validate clinical research databases.* Coordinate data use agreements (DUAs) across multiple sites. Assist with IRB-required changes related to data management/sharing protocols, adapting to differences in regulatory processes across sites. Ensure consortia-level data exchange is secure and standardized to enable effective research collaboration in compliance with HIPAA and GCP guidelines. Coordinate with third-party data sharing platform vendors to conduct privacy risk assessments and develop trainings for interfacing with these platforms. Develop standard operating procedures for data quality control that may include clinical, cognitive, and behavioral assessments and questionnaires, diagnostic reports, videos, biological specimens, neuroimaging and EEG data, caregiver reports, and interviews. Track changes with study data managers through version control and develop reports/dashboards to capture and present these at scale. Support study data managers in developing automated pipelines for cleaning, preprocessing, and analyzing data to improve reliability, reduce redundancy, and meet deliverables in a timely manner. In order to qualify, you must have: Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, psychology, statistics, or a health-sciences related field. Minimum of 2+ years of full-time data management or equivalent experience managing a multi-site research consortium. Strong communication skills for necessary collaboration and leading data management initiatives. Experience working with IRBs and DUAs across multiple sites. Experience with third-party data storage and data sharing platforms. Familiarity with HIPAA and GSP data best practices. Experience providing educational support and training to investigators and staff. Experience with reporting study and data quality measures. Commitment to the FAIR data principles. A strong candidate will also be comfortable with the following skills: Knowledge of developmental neuroscience. Experience with behavioral, neurophysiological, neuroimaging, and genetic study design. Experience using REDCap and relational databases. Excellent computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office, R, Python, SPSS, SAS, or STATA. Experience in formatting, cleaning, verifying, documenting, and exporting large data for statistical analyses.
