Get to Know Your Team:

• Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

• The Clinical Educator is responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, evaluation and revision of programs aimed at orientation, competency validation, and ongoing development of the workforce at Pascack Valley Medical Center.
• This individual serves as a role model, clinical consultant and resource for employee development activities within the organization that serve to foster a continuous learning environment.
• The Clinical Educator provides an appropriate climate for learning and facilitates the adult learning process by developing, planning, and presenting educational activities that directly fosters the development and maintenance of competence both professional and non-professional staff.

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Enrolled in a Master’s Program
• Current New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or valid Compacted Registered Nurse license require 
• 5 years of recent Acute Care experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) required

Preferred Job Requirements: 

• Specialty certification in clinical area, preferred
• Advanced Life Support Certification - preferred
