Salary: $15.00/hour

We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated student or graduate who wants to work in a rotational internship that will develop your professional skills while supporting a rapidly growing office. Our highly collaborative team enjoys working out of our recently expanded office in downtown Grand Rapids.

During your internship, you will work in various roles including sales, project coordination, pre-sales support, and market research. You will work side-by-side with the sales team to assist with various tasks. It is common for BCM One interns to be offered a full-time position or an extended internship.

Work Locations:

This is a hybrid position based out of our Grand Rapids, MI office. Ideally, we would like this person in the office five days per week. This position is not eligible for sponsorship or relocation.

Date/Hours:

Mid-May through Mid-August

40 hours per week; typically 8:30am to 5:30pm Eastern.

Compensation:

$15/hour

What You Will Do:

• Answering and screening internal and external phone calls and emails.
• Scheduling appointments for the sales department, service providers, suppliers, and customers.
• Preparing and filing sales contracts and agreements.
• Liaising with other departments on administrative matters of mutual importance.
• Performing research toward identifying potential sales leads and pitches.
• Managing the sales department's budget and commissions.

What You Will Need:

• Be actively enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelors program; or be a recent graduate of a postsecondary degree.
• Experience in customer service or sales, and a strong interest in working with customers.
• Ambition to learn and contribute to the team.
  
• Highly organized and deadline-driven.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
