As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to join our team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development, market research, and client relationship management within the dynamic aerospace and defense sectors.

As a Business Development Intern, you will support the Business Development team in identifying new opportunities, conducting market research, and assisting with client engagement efforts. You will gain valuable experience in proposal development, sales pipeline tracking, and strategic partnership management. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn about the defense, government, and space industries while contributing to meaningful projects that drive business growth.

• Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct research on potential clients, competitors, and industry trends in the defense, government, and space sectors.
  • Gather and analyze customer and competitor data to support business development strategies.

• Sales Pipeline Support:

  • Assist in tracking, identifying, and adding qualified prospects to the sales pipeline.
  • Monitor the status of proposal components and provide updates to the Business Development team.

• Client Engagement:

  • Support the development and maintenance of client relationships.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and materials for prospective clients and internal executives.

• Proposal Development:

  • Collaborate with the team to develop mutually beneficial proposals.
  • Work with the pricing department to create rate proposals and ensure accuracy.

• Administrative Support:

  • Help create and implement processes and policies to support overall business objectives.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting sales contracts.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in the defense, government, and space industries.
• Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Based in New Mexico or Texas (preferred).
